Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates a basic knowledge of CFS' continuum of services and provides appropriate referral when applicable and needed.
Displays consistent ethical behavior and sound judgment.
Interacts and works with children, adults, and families served, as well as colleagues, and/ or community members in a non-biased, inclusive, and respectful way regardless of cultural differences and circumstances.
Appropriately utilizes supervision process and Agency support in order to best execute assignments, duties, and responsibilities.
Demonstrates dependability, responsibility, and self-accountability in meeting position expectations.
Responsible for personal and collective safety of the organization by displaying consistent mindfulness as well as identifying and reporting safety issues and violations.
Strong commitment to personal and collective professional development
Participates in continuing professional development opportunities o Provides leadership and supervision of program/department staff, including holding regular meetings and trainings to ensure program management
Attends all required staff meetings and trainings, program, and Center for Family Services activities.
Reports any suspected child abuse and neglect per New Jersey's guidelines.
Conducts self as a role model in interactions with staff, colleagues, and funding sources in accordance with Center for Family Services' Code of Ethics.
Works in a professional manner with appropriate administrative staff in getting administrative information to agency managers.
Maintains appropriate and professional relationship with all external parties including, but not limited to, vendors, funders, partners, state and federal agencies.
Maintains program compliance with all funding and licensing procedures and requirements.
Discusses personal and professional staff issues, when necessary, only with appropriate individuals.
Respects confidentiality of clients and staff by adhering to the Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement.
Coordinates with CFS Operations Department on facility improvement, ensuring that each site complies with CFS standards of excellence - ensures that systems are in place for required and enhanced cleanliness, safety and homelike environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant behavioral science preferred
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant behavioral science, plus 3 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or child care agency or organization.
1 - 3 years of progressive employment experience with a social service or childcare agency or organization.
Bilingual language fluency in both English and Spanish
4- 7 years of progressive employment experience with a social service or child care agency or organization.
