A medical health clinical located nearHackensack, NJis looking for a strongClinical Research Coordinator.

Summary of Position

Reporting to the Principal Investigator and Associate VP of Strategy, the Clinical Research Supervisor will review and familiarize themselves with the study protocols and will recruit and enroll study participants according to procedures approved by the IRB. This position will oversee and manage the clinical trial, communication with sponsor and monitors, visit coordination, sample acquisition and processing.

Qualifications:

  • Must have approximately 2 to 3 years of prior clinical research experience in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of clinical research.
  • Conduct study visits with participants according schedule of assessments specific to study protocols.
  • Coordinator will verify the required elements of the visits.
  • Collect data, run reports in our EHR, make arrangements for participants as appropriate, provide education to participants as appropriate, and monitor for adverse events.
  • Verify that all required elements have been fulfilled.
  • Close-out of the clinical trial, contributing to manuscripts, audit preparation, trial completion, and communication with authorities.
  • Other responsibilities include assisting with the final study report and completing financial obligations.
  • Abstract data as needed from participants' medical charts, and will enter data onto protocol-specific forms and/or specifically designed computerized data entry systems.
  • Maintain all study records and materials in a manner that protects participant privacy and patient confidentiality per local regulations.
  • Assure the quality and integrity of the study data, respond to data queries promptly, and treat all study participants with respect.
  • Oversees the clinical trial regulatory maintenance from study submission through closeout.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field can be substituted for experience.
  • EKG and phlebotomy certified, preferred
