Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Assistant to support our teachers and enhance the learning experience for students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess strong communication skills, and have a genuine desire to help young learners achieve their academic and personal goals. This role is critical in creating a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Assist teachers with the preparation and implementation of instructional materials, resources, and classroom activities.
- Provide individualized support to students, including helping with classwork, assignments, and assessments.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials, supplies, and resources.
- Help with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers and other educational staff.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and any off-campus events as needed.
- Support the teacher in assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information.
- Regular and predictable attendance

- Supervise multiple students at once
- Provide instructional assistance to students in an individual or small group setting
- Ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment for students

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
