DescriptionKforce's client, an innovative communications technology company in Marlborough, MA, is seeking an Embedded Networking Software Engineer. In this role, you will join a talented engineering team and work in a collaborative environment to build next-generation communication systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technologies and expand your skills by learning emerging tools and languages such as Rust. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded software for next generation communication systems
- Contribute within an Agile Scrum development framework and participate in CI/CD software development workflows
- Implement and troubleshoot networking protocols such as TLS and IPSec
- BA/BS degree
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing embedded software in C/C++
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS in an embedded environment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Experience with object-oriented software development
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
