As a Software Engineer Developer, Advisory II, you will lead a team of talented developers to create innovative solutions that address complex business challenges. Your role will involve overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software applications, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
What you'll do:
Lead a team of software developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

Experience you'll need to have:
6+ years of experience in software development in the finance industry
3+ years of experience leading teams
3+ years of experience in C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
3+ years of experience in SQL databases
3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:

How you’ll work:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
