Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children 4 years of age. The Pre K Teacher will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities that enhance children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.- Responsibilities:
- Essential Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote creativity, exploration, and critical thinking. Incorporate activities that support literacy, math, science, and social skills.
- Use various teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and developmental needs.
- Conduct regular observations and assessments of student progress, documenting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the institution.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.

- Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan with a ZA or ZS endorsement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities
- Experience in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of child development and the principles of early childhood education
