Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Systems Administrator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will install and maintain IT infrastructure including, but not limited to: internal/external networks, Windows/Linux based servers, databases, Active Directory, and all supporting hardware/software. Provides after hours support of mission critical systems including weekends and holidays. As a Systems Administrator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Develops, implements, troubleshoots and maintains Server technologies that meet business needs.
  • Analyzes the current business and information technology environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots internal/external networks.
  • Provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. • Deploys, supports and maintains domain, SQL, and storage servers.
  • Support and maintain enterprise access control and identity management technologies, including configuration, monitoring, and integration.
  • Maintains Microsoft Active Directory environment. • Plans for and responds to service outages and other issues. Maintains security environment and associated endpoints.
  • Performs back up and back up maintenance. Conducts routine audits of systems and software.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field

Minimum Experience:

  • Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Microsoft Active Directory
