Our community-based organization in Hartford County CT has a great new opportunity for a Physician Assistant to work in our outpatient clinic in a collaborative work environment. You would be working alongside our other Nurse Practitioners, PA’s, and physicians to enhance your clinical skills. Our organization offers full medical, behavioral, and dental health to a community that needs it most. As a Physician Assistant, we offer an in-depth training process and a supportive work environment. Our organization offers a great company culture and the ability to really make a difference in our patient’s lives. This opportunity would be a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or on call. We may be open for 4 10 hour shift schedule as well. Please see job highlights below.
Title: Physician Assistant
Location: Hartford, CT
Salary: $110,000 to $160,00, DOE + full benefits 401k plan, PTO, Medical dental, vacation, life insurance, holiday pay, loan repayment
Responsibilities:
Performing routine physical examinations of patients
Checking patient’s vital signs, blood pressure, and reading lab results
Working closely with our attending physicians and APRN’s
Prescribing necessary medication when needed
Conducting follow up visits and reading MRI results
Speaking with family members about patient medical health
Referring patients to other specialists if needed
Documenting all necessary results in EMR System
Requirements:
Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant school program
Active DEA license
We will sew new graduate Physician Assistants
CT PA license
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately, not quickly
