Job Title:Income Tax Preparer
Pay Rate:$40K/year-$100K/year, based on work and industry experience
Hours:30-60 hours per week. Core hours are approximate 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
*Tax season will work an average of 60 hours per week
*Off tax season, approximately April-15 to June and August and September, average of 30-45 hours per week
Length:Temporary 3-6 months, Temporary to Hire or Direct Hire

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare income taxes and financial reports
- Calculate depreciation expenses
- Perform tax research
- Analyze financial statements
- Calculate payroll taxes
- Help farms with QuickBooks or other accounting records
Requirements:
- Must have 1+ year of tax preparation experience
- Farm or agricultural tax experience is a plus
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus
- Basic Word and Excel knowledge, usage of a computer tax package, QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
- Outgoing, ability to converse with farms
- Organized, driven and self-motivated
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
