- Develops, reviews and updates and implements all policies and procedures on Infection control.
- Educating nursing staff
- Develops updates and enforces procedures for re-portable and non-re-portable infections.

Requirements of the Infection Control/Staff Development Coordinator:
- Must have infection control experience in a long term care setting
- Must have nurse education experience
