Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and motivate a team of employees to provide excellent customer service.

    • Assist in training, coaching, and developing staff for success.

    • Ensure all team members are adhering to company policies and safety standards.

  • Store Operations:

    • Open and close the store as needed.

    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring store cleanliness, product availability, and efficient workflow.

    • Manage cash handling, register transactions, and store financial operations.

    • Maintain store inventory levels, order new products, and track stock rotation.

  • Customer Service:

    • Provide a high level of customer service by resolving issues, answering questions, and making purchase suggestions.

    • Ensure that all store staff are meeting customer service expectations.

    • Handle customer complaints and resolve problems quickly and professionally.

  • Sales and Marketing:

    • Assist with store promotions, marketing initiatives, and upselling efforts.

    • Monitor product displays and signage to ensure they are aligned with current promotions and campaigns.

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Maintain daily reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.

    • Assist with scheduling and payroll for the store team.

    • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned by the store manager.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in retail management or as a supervisor in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proven experience in customer service and managing a team.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.

    • Ability to manage inventory and merchandising.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Proficiency with retail management software and point-of-sale systems.

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the store.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

  • Ability to bend, twist, and reach frequently.

  • Comfort with performing tasks such as stocking shelves, handling inventory, and cashiering.
