RECREATION ASSISTANT - NHC HEALTHCARE OAKWOODPART TIME - WEEKENDS
NHC HealthCare Oakwood, in Lewisburg, TNhas a need for aRecreation Assistant to work every weekends,and fill in as needed during the week. We are seeking an individual that wants to work in a team atmosphere and provide quality services to our seniors
The qualified applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative. TheRecreation Assistantmust be creative, energetic, and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
The right candidate will:
-Promote and lead recreational programs on a daily basis
-Assist with documentation including attendance, assessments and progress notes
Requirements:
-1 year of experience working with the elderly in a long term care setting preferred, but not required.
