DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Boston, MA. Key Tasks:
- Oracle PL/SQL Developer will lead the design and implementation of robust, high-performance database solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Drive engineering best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will participate in code reviews, design sessions, and performance tuning efforts
- Support production systems, including participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Oracle OCI) are a bonus
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PLSQL, including performance tuning, data modeling, and API development
- Strong experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) and batch job schedulers (e.g., Autosys)
- Experience with ATDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with distributed replication technologies (e.g., Oracle GoldenGate, EDB Replication)
- Familiarity with Java, messaging systems, and web containers
- Exposure to other database platforms (Postgres, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, etc.) is a plus
- Strong Linux shell scripting and performance monitoring skills
- Proven ability to design scalable, resilient systems using cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake, S3 preferred)
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, and engineered systems is highly desirable
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
