We’re looking for an experienced Applied Chiller Service Technician in San Diego, CA to tackle the tough stuff—servicing and repairing commercial chillers and applied HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
Service and repair air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, centrifugal, and magnetic bearing chillers
Diagnose issues, perform teardowns, and handle rebuilds
Support startups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance
Communicate clearly with customers and document work
Follow safety protocols and manufacturer specs
RequirementsMust-Haves
12+ years in commercial mechanical HVAC
5+ years hands-on with applied systems and chillers
Strong experience with screw and centrifugal units
Local to San Diego with a solid work history
Confident troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves
Factory training or OEM certifications (Trane, Carrier, York, etc.)
Centrifugal teardown experience
EPA Universal, OSHA 10/30
Bonus: BAS or controls knowledge
