Floating LPN / LVN Compensation
- The pay for this position is$37.17 per hour.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Floating LPN / LVN Highlights
- This position is acontract assignmentwith potential to convert to permanent based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- Work schedules are created in6-week blocksfollowing 3 weeks of training/orientation
- Shifts range7–10 hoursduring clinic operating hours
- Typical workweek:2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend
- Some major holiday coverage required
Floating LPN / LVN Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
- Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on-site
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
- Assist with wait room management, patient reminder calls, appointment scheduling, and chaperoning sensitive exams
- Prepare the clinic and waiting space to enhance the patient experience
- Support patient-focused care and clinic mission through excellent service and connections
Floating LPN / LVN Requirements
- Full, active, and unrestricted license as aLicensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or D.C.
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program
- Minimum of1-year related healthcare experience
- Experience administering immunizations and providing evidence-based vaccine counseling/education
- Experience documenting in anElectronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Ability to take vital signs and provide basic patient care
- BLS certification(CPR and AED)
- Pass aFIT testand wear a provided respirator mask when required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Availability to work some holidays and flexible floating shifts as needed
