Senior Developer - SME
Tuknik Government Services,a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a an innovative Senior Developer specializing in Orchestration, Automation, and AIOps to help drive our digital transformation initiatives to supportTGSand our government customer in Camp Spring, MD. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing automated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. The place of performance for this position may be at Stennis Space Center, MS or Camp Springs, MD.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:
The Senior Developer for Orchestration, Automation, and AIOps will be responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions across our technology stack. Key responsibilities include:
Design and develop automation workflows and orchestration solutions
Implement AIOps platforms and tools to enhance IT operations
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Develop and integrate automated monitoring and alerting systems
Build self-healing systems and automated remediation processes
Create documentation and runbooks for automated processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
Mentor junior team members on automation best practices
Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems support
Evaluate and implement new automation tools and technologies
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
8+ years of experience in software development
5+ years of experience with automation and orchestration tools
3+ years of experience with AIOps platforms and machine learning applications
Strong background in DevOps practices and principles
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong understanding of network protocols and security principles
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Desired Skills and Competencies:
Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning applications
Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
Experience with event correlation and analysis
Public cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with chaos engineering principles
Knowledge of security automation and compliance tools
Experience working in government IT environments
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
Experience with big data technologies
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Certification in at least one of the following skills: Software Development, Automation and Orchestration, AIOps, or equivalent.

The place of performance for this position may be at Stennis Space Center, MS or Camp Springs, MD.
