SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Facilitates communications between Penn State Health (Holy Spirit and Hampden Medical Centers) and local EMS and other first responder agencies by coordinating medical direction, training, patient care and outcome feedback and continuing education programs. This person is the primary point of contact for hospital communications with external EMS and other first responder agencies in the community. Works under the direction of the Manager of Life Lion and in coordination with other Life Lion leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience two (2) years
- Pennsylvania Paramedic or EMT Certification required
- Minimum five (5) years of EMS experience required
- Experience in health-related education required
