Seeking an Electrician for a well-established company!
Job duties include:
- Will maintain all electrical equipment and motors up to 200hp
- Perform basic welding
- Troubleshoot all electrical systems, and plan for future needs
- Cord inspections, ground testing, grease motors, and installation of new equipment
- Will install, repair, test, troubleshoot, replace, and maintain plant electrical equipment
- Will oversee electrical work from minor repairs to major projects
- Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements of local building & safety codes
- Monitor and assist in the planning of daily & future scheduled plant repairs
- Assist with scheduling major electrical projects from ordering parts to performing the work
- Investigate component failures, communicating results to operations
- Assist with the development of budget projections and capital expenditures
- Assist with electrical and mechanical projects, installations, and shutdowns
- Help with other plant maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Master electrician certification preferred
- Journeyman license or equivalent experience is required
- Electrical experience in an industrial setting
- Basic math & reading skills
- Strong communication skills
- Basic welding is a plus
- Experience working with the National Electrical Code
- Experience and/or training in electrical wiring, electrical motors, and mechanical components
- Must provide own tool set
- Strong safety sense required and experience in MSHA facility desired
- This position requires the ability to receive clearance for respirator protection
- This position requires working outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, wetness, dryness, dust, and noisy conditions
