Main position objectives
The Electrical Assembler provides the highest quality of workmanship assembling and wiring the Maag family of equipment.
Position description – Tasks, responsibilities, competencies
• Train with fellow team members to learn standard assembly and wiring practices on each machine.
• Read/interpret electrical drawings, schematics
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring using hand tools and power tools.
• Complete electrical assemblies including the wiring of motors, control panels and electronic controllers
• Pull wires and install electrical components
• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
• Confer with other departments including engineering during the manufacturing of the project
• Willing to work extra hours including weekends when production reaches peak periods.
The incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within his scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment actively.

Work Environment
• Generally, electrical assemblers work in a plant setting. While performing the duties of this job in a plant setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, hot equipment, hot and cold weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE will be required.

• Employee must be able to distinguish between the full range of colors in the color spectrum to work with electrical wires. Use graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids; measure distances with a tape measure or other measuring device.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, sitting and climbing.
• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Able to read and explain manufacturing drawing, and schematics
