LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio
POSITION TYPE: 12 month contract
POSITION TERMS: Hybrid Must be local or within a one hour drive
In-depth knowledge across several areas, including: Accela application, HealthSpace application, data migration, Local Health District operations, ODH Food, Recreational Health, Sewage, Private Water, Complaints, and Animal Bite operations, CBOSS online payment system, State of Ohio’s OGRIP GIS service, ODH CARS system, and the State Innovate Ohio Program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working knowledge and experience with ODH’s HealthSpace system.
- Understanding how the data in the HealthSpace system maps to the Accela system.
- Coordinating HealthSpace data exports.
- Verifying data between the HealthSpace system and the Accela system.
- How to submit, process, and approve applications. How to issue licenses.
- Understand the variances in the Workflows between the Food, Pools, Spas,Campgrounds, Resident Camps, Ag Labor Camps, Sewage, and Private Water Programs.
- How automated validation and triggers are applied to the Workflows.
- Researching and developing new reports using the Accela Ad-hoc Report Builder.
- Integration and functionality between the ODH Accela system and the ODH CARS invoicing system.
- Coordinating and facilitating CBOSS account setup between CBOSS and Local Health Districts.
- Providing detailed feedback to Local Health Districts about the ODH Accela system functionality.
- How the OGRIP GIS service is implemented and used by the ODH Accela system.
- Understand the ODH Accela system’s time accounting and payment processes.
- How, when, and by what mode communications are provided to the user community.
- Perform system Administrator functions to support all Local Health Districts, including the administration of user accounts, fees, political subdivisions, and other agency-related information.
