The University of Arizona School of Architecture invites applications for the following part-time Adjunct Lecturer teaching positions for the 2025-2026 Fall, Spring and/or Summer at less than 50% time.
Adjunct lecturers will teach any of the following courses in the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and/or Master of Science in Architecture programs:
- Foundation Studios
- Core Professional Design Studios
- Research Option Studios
- Advanced Technology (structures, construction, and environmental systems)
- Design Communications
- Architecture History and Theory
- Professional Practice Courses
Your teaching load may make you eligible for benefits if you work a .50 FTE or greater for 90 days or longer. As courses and loads are determined, we will notify employees should they gain benefits eligibility status.

Duties & Responsibilities- Teaching and preparation for the specific course(s), as required.
- Participation as a member of the Faculty of Architecture by attending relevant meetings.
- Minor service responsibilities to the School.
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch); OR
- B.S. with 15 years of experience in active architectural practice(s)
- Advanced degree in architecture.
- Professional licensure in architecture.
