Position Summary
- Under limited supervision, provides varied confidential office administrative support for global labor and employment function
- Acts as primary administrative office contact.
- Must have strong organizational skills and takes initiative to problem solve and perform administrative functions
- Possesses considerable autonomy in completing projects
- Assignments generally include:
- Scheduling meetings
- Preparing a variety of correspondence
- Compiling information from several sources
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to:
- Locate relevant case documents
- Manage case records and witnesses
- Maintain litigation files in the case matter management system
- Handles invoices, legal settlement agreements, case file openings, organization of department meetings, and generate legal reports
- Must use initiative and judgment arranging job details to achieve predetermined objectives
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and complex human resource issues
- Must have 8 years of relevant experience
- Preference:
- Degree or paralegal certification
- 3 plus years in a legal department or law firm
- 3 plus years working with matter management systems
- Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available up from the Senior to the Principal level
