Managed IT support services company is seeking a highly capableTechnical Account Manager (TAM)to serve as the key bridge between our clients and our technical delivery team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure client satisfaction, manage strong relationships, and identify opportunities to expand our service offerings. The ideal candidate blendshands-on technical IT knowledgewith a strategic understanding of business relationships. You must be a skilled communicator, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, understandable business terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with all assigned client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Strategic Growth:Proactively identify service gaps or expansion opportunities within client accounts and manage the follow-up process for new business.
  • Technical Communication:Translate complex technical language related to hardware, software, and networking into clear, actionable terms for clients and business needs for the technical team.
  • Service Coordination:Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all client inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Account Performance:Conduct regular strategic account reviews, assess client satisfaction, and track/report on key account metrics to both internal leadership and clients.
  • Product Expertise:Provide engaging product demonstrations and presentations to clients as required to illustrate solution value.
  • Market Awareness:Stay updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to anticipate client needs.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ yearsof directAccount Managementexperience or a similar client-facing role.
  • 2+ yearsofhands-on IT experiencewith a strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client challenges and propose tailored solutions.

  • Must be a collaborative team player and a clear, persuasive communicator.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and the MS Office suite.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.

  • Ability to travel to client meetings and industry events as needed.

  • Must be able to work full-time in our Lakewood, NJ office.
