Where is the work:
Customer Facing - Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office
What you will do:
Customer Interaction:
- Attend job site meetings and provide guidance and technical support for installation of equipment.
- Understand, address and resolve equipment and installation issues to prevent unnecessary service requests.
- Follow up with customers post-job for feedback.
Problem Solving:
- Troubleshoot warranty issues and lead problem-solving teams.
- Develop, maintain & communicate technical service documentation, or concepts via phone or in writing.
- Participate in MDI reviews and risk management discussions.
Project Management:
- Coordinate ordering, delivery, and installation of warranty parts and coordinate labor for warranty repairs.
- Provide guidance to field technicians on clear scopes of work
- Prepare and complete documentation for startup logs and job summary reports.
- Collaborate with product managers and sales engineers for technical support.
Technical Skills:
- Analyze electrical schematics and refrigerant piping diagrams.
- Use Microsoft Office and Trane-specific programs.
- Understand safe refrigerant handling and electrical safety standards.
Safety and Compliance:
- Promote company safety policies.
- Travel locally to job sites as needed.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel for factory testing/training.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in project management, HVAC service, or related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC installation contracting processes.
- Strong computer, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Highly organized and customer service-oriented.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $140,000 plus incentive
Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
This position is classified as safety-sensitive.
