As part of their growth, they are seeking a licensed and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of commercial lines business, ensuring all aspects of client servicing are handled with professionalism and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning:Utilize strategic thinking to anticipate client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Daily Interaction:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by working with them daily to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on insurance products.
- Rate-Making and Underwriting:Demonstrate experience in rate-making and possess a general knowledge of underwriting processes to support client needs effectively.
- Staff Coordination:Manage and collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and resolve daily operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Licensing:Valid insurance license is required.
- Industry Expertise:
Proficient in insurance terminology, protection solutions, and the application of policies to meet client needs.
Knowledgeable about rating processes and available insurance markets.
- Experience:At least 3 years of experience in servicing commercial business.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with Applied TAM software preferred.
- Professionalism:
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Professional Designations:
Designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, or AAI are highly desirable but not required.
