MUST HAVES (Required):

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2–5+ years of relevant leadership experiencein an ASC or acute care OR environment

Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and accrediting body standards
Preferred:
Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience
Experience in Gastroenterology, Pain Management, or Colorectal surgical services
Position Overview:
This is a high-impact executive leadership role within a large, modern Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the north side of the Houston metro area. The facility features 4 Operating Rooms and 2 Procedure Rooms, with a strong focus on GI, Pain Management, and Colorectal surgery. The ASC Director serves as the key operational, clinical, and administrative leader—responsible for optimizing performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional surgical care.
You will act as the primary liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, corporate leadership, and all facility departments while driving continuous growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
I. Clinical Leadership & Quality
Ensure all clinical programs and surgical services meet regulatory and accrediting standards
Lead and oversee all clinical departments: nursing, central supply, medical records, housekeeping, and contracted services
Administer the facility’s infection control and continuous quality improvement programs
Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee on service development
II. Business Operations & Financial Management
Integrate operational processes into the facility’s quality improvement framework
Develop, manage, and control both operational and capital budgets
Monitor financial performance and ensure healthy cash flow
Negotiate and manage contracts with physicians, vendors, and service providers
Establish pricing strategies based on cost analysis and market conditions
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accrediting requirements
III. Personnel Administration & Organizational Growth
Lead, develop, and manage all clinical and administrative staff
Build strong relationships with physicians and maintain high engagement
Oversee staffing efficiency using productivity metrics and corporate tools
Serve as the main point of contact between the facility and the Home Office
Lead monthly operational review discussions
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals
