Field Technician

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a

for our premier client.

• 5 years experience working in the telecom field.
• Experience working with or strong knowledge of electronics/telecommunication hardware.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, volatile environment.
• Experience handling and resolving customer queries.
• Practical understanding of inventory control and management systems.
• Computer literate, intermediate level Google docs suite and MS Office365 applications.
• Basic understanding of spreadsheets.
• Comfortable and effective working without direct supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Excellent personal organization and business administration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timelines and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Good team building and interpersonal skills.

• Working on customer sites across NASA.
• Booking travel as required to support for upcoming field activity.
• Adhering to customer security and safety policies.
• Supporting the preparation of upcoming projects with research and feedback at team meetings prior to project start dates.
• Adhering to customer security and safety policies.
• Submitting of weekly expense reports following company guidelines.
• Attend all customer team meetings as required.
• Adhere to all aspects of health and safety in warehouse including safe handling of ESD components.
• Adhere to all client travel policies.
• Client confidentiality must be adhered to at all times.
• Preparation of material for safe shipping and completion of handovers to courier teams.
• Performing product refurbishment support.
• Creating and updating product configuration documentation.
• Other duties as assigned, management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.
