Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee a critical Human Resources project within our organization. The Human Resources Department plays a crucial role in managing the state government’s workforce efficiently and effectively, ensuring that employees are supported, engaged, and able to contribute to the delivery of essential services

The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Human Resource projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of SAP. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills to lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions. In this role you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with technical solutions while overseeing the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, roadmap, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress against established goals.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple agencies and cross-functional teams to develop and refine the current state model and define the transition to the future state model.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project sponsors, end-users, and technical teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects, preferably with experience in SAP reporting solutions.
  • Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and relevant SAP software solutions, such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP SuccessFactors.
