Work You’ll Do
As a Project Delivery Specialist on the team, you will:
- Be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining code that enable communication between different software systems.
- Define and document specifications, endpoints, data models, and protocols - REST, GraphQL.
- Build and implement APIs using programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python.
- Ensure seamless integration of APIs with internal and external systems, applications, and third-party services.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for APIs. Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for API consumers, including usage examples and best practices.
- Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements based on user feedback.

This opportunity sits within our Deloitte US Delivery Center model, which is dedicated to driving impactful business services. It leverages Deloitte’s scale and talent, as well as a center delivery model to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with standardized processes and procedures to service businesses across Deloitte.
The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ Years of experience with Java (SpringBoot and/or SpringBatch framework), SQL, and REST webservices.
- 1 + Years of experience with AWS Cloud.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
Preferred:
- Experience with GitHub, Jaeger, GitHub Actions, or Git Releases.
- Exposure to and/or use of Oracle, RDS, Document DBs (DynamoDB, MongoDB), and Python.
- Containerization experience using Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
- Experience with Backstage.io, Open API, or OpenTracing.
