Job SummaryAs aProject Manager, you’ll oversee multiplesteel fabrication projectsfrom start to finish. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge ofsteel fabrication and construction project managementwho enjoys being involved at every stage.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple steel fabrication projects from kickoff to completion
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources
Interpret and review architectural and structural drawings
Collaborate with internal teams for efficiency and accuracy
Handle project costing, billing, and invoicing
Maintain project documentation (RFIs, change orders, drawings, etc.)
Conduct site visits and field measurements
Communicate with clients and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with
- AISC standards and industry regulations
3+ years of project management experience with a structural steel fabricator/erector
OR 2+ years with a degree in construction management, civil/structural engineering, or related fieldStrong knowledge of
- steel fabrication and AISC certification standards
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
Experience with cost estimation and material take-offs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with
- STRUMIS or similar project management software
Knowledge of
- Procore, Viewpoint, or Corecon
Familiarity with
- steel connection design and detailing practices
Pay Range:
- $60,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience)
