| Description/Notes: | Job Summary (Primary Purpose): The Administrative Specialist for the School Improvement Team serves as a case manager and facilitates targeted efforts around school improvement and the Effective Schools Framework with external partners and internal staff. This position designs, develops, enhances, and delivers training and/or provides educational tools and resources pertaining to school improvement and the Effective Schools Framework. Major Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public; Work collaboratively with ESC staff to design, develop, implement, communicate, and coordinate customized school improvement and systemic support to improve student performance; Provide professional development, personalized coaching, and technical assistance to campus and district leaders around school improvement initiatives; including the development of targeted improvement plans and accountability guidance; Understand and be able to coach on the implementation of the Effective Schools Framework (ESF); Facilitate and co-facilitate ESF diagnostic visits to campuses involved in the school improvement process; Provide ESF Lever 1 coaching to school improvement campus leadership; Design, develop, enhance, and deliver trainings through multiple delivery models for internal and external stakeholders; Attend meetings regarding school improvement/The Effective Schools Framework and develop required reports, and attend Statewide ESC meetings and State level meetings with TEA; Collect and analyze LEA data from a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources to assist in designing strategic school improvement plans and/or facilitate data analysis protocol at the LEA; Collaborate with the Texas Instructional Leadership Coordinator to assist with TIL practices for SI-engaged campuses. Design, develop, and deliver training and products and/or provide educational tools and resources pertaining to data analysis; Perform other duties as assigned. |

| Salary Range: | This is a full-time, twelve (12) month, 232 days with a salary range of $81,352 to $88,000. This is a grant-funded position and continued employment is contingent upon grant renewal |
