- Provides basic statistical and financial analytical support to senior management and various project teams to support decision making for regional strategic and operational efforts.
- Develops, recommends, and implements standard analytical solutions, based upon proven methodologies which support decision-making across the organization.
- Acts as a key resource for the ongoing development and support of the department's core services including labor productivity, external benchmarking, and labor ratio targets for the organization.
- Provides a wide range of services related to work process flow and work redesign including analysis, design, and evaluation.
- Completes assessments in an efficient manner to understand the current state process, obtain and evaluate relevant data, identify opportunities, eliminate waste, and chart a resolute course of action.
- Supports department level improvement initiatives and network projects.
- Works directly with senior leadership to achieve network goals and strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, or related area.
- 2 years related experience in improving operations, conducting complex analytical studies, and project management.
- Sound ability to use continuous improvement tools, including but not limited to process mapping, process observation, root cause analysis (FMEA), value stream mapping, pareto and statistical charts, 5 Whys, etc.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Visio). Has exposure to at least one statistical analysis software (Minitab, SAS).
- Has an exposure to the basics of financial analytics.
- Proficient in project management principles.
- Ability to identify key business issues and develop appropriate analyses and action plans for improving operational efficiency.
- Master’s Degree Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related area.
- 5 years related experience in improving operations, conducting complex analytical studies, and project management.
- Training and experience in Lean Six-Sigma.
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
