This is a temp to hire opportunity with a building supply company in Green Bay
Monday through Friday 6AM to 2:30PM
Job Description:
To assemble components for commercial and residential construction, according to established guidelines. Maintain company quality standards.
Duties included:
- Follow technical instructions, Interpret designer drawings and technical terms.
- Maintain the motorized and non-motorized tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained work area.
- Recognize parts and materials used in production.
- Must be capable of handling Wisconsin weather where it can be -10 one day and 70 the next day.
- Inspect finished products for flaws and defects.
- Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers: attends periodic safety meetings as required.
- Respond attentively to training from foreman, or more senior handlers in order to increase own knowledge of work processes.
Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the job successfully and perform each essential duty as necessary.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry level position where employees will receive on the job training.
- Must wear and maintain all company provided, and non-company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Must be able to read tape measure by sixteenths, frequently lift 40-80lbs.
- Must have some building experiences.
