Commercial HVAC Technician
My client is a well-respected mechanical contractor that is looking to hire strong HVAC technicians with a strong background in Commercial and Industrial projects. This position offers room for growth and opportunities!
Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Installs HVAC systems, ductwork, and controls in commercial buildings, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Maintenance & Upkeep: Performs routine maintenance like cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating components to ensure system efficiency.
- Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoots HVAC malfunctions, identifies root causes, and implements repairs to restore system operation.
- Inspection & Safety: Conducts tests and inspections to ensure HVAC systems operate safely and comply with regulations.
- Customer & Documentation: Communicates with building managers about system issues, provides recommendations, and maintains detailed service records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in commercial setting.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, plumbing and boilers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid Drivers, HVAC and EPA licenses
- Able to pass a background and drug screen
