About the Opportunity:
Snelling Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experiencedImaging Department Supervisorto oversee operations within a well-established women’s imaging department. This position offers the chance to lead a dedicated team of imaging professionals while ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the Imaging Department.
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Approve PTO requests, oversee timecards, and monitor department payroll.
- Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinate accreditation activities and ensure compliance with all governing bodies.
- Partner with radiologists and physicians to maintain quality standards for imaging services.
- Manage scheduling, workflow, and performance to optimize patient experience.
- Prepare and analyze departmental reports and data as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational standards for patient care.
- Serve as a working technologist when required, performing mammography and related imaging procedures.
Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification in Mammography (required).
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- At least 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- ISCD Certification a plus.
