The Tennessee Medical Association seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Programs to manage physician leadership and education initiatives, including the Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership and grant-funded education programs. Job ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership and multi-year grant-funded education programs
- Supervise Program Operations Coordinator and guide program implementation
- Oversee program budgets, logistics, recruitment, evaluation, and compliance reporting
- Lead participant recruitment and develop strategies to strengthen program enrollment
- Coordinate with marketing team on promotional campaigns and program visibility
- Compile program evaluations, analyze data, and prepare reports for boards and grantors
- Support fundraising efforts including donor engagement and alumni relations
- Contribute to program design improvements and pilot initiative development
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in program management, education, or related field
- Experience supervising staff and managing teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously including budgets and deliverables
- Strong communication skills and experience working with external stakeholders
- Highly organized with excellent project management abilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Nonprofit or association experience preferred
