Description
We're looking for a Director of Financial Operations to join out National Group at Surgery Partners!
Director of Financial Operations (Hybrid Role)
This is a hybrid position based at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday.
DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the leadership and coordination of all the National Group's internal financial reporting requirements
- Partner with operational leadership to ensure the proper level of finance support is being delivered to the facilities.
- Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and prior year.
- Assist with operational analysis and performance metric initiatives.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Development teams to perform diligence, develop financial projections and execute on potential M&A activity.
- Supervise, coach and mentor the operations team’s analyst
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of experience in a management level finance or accounting position; CPA and / or Masters Degree preferred.
- Strong business, strategic and financial acumen is required.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Operating experience in a company with multiple locations
- Experience compiling and analyzing GAAP financial statements as well as in coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact independently with the executive management team and communicate with all levels of management.
- Ability to apply intellectual rigor and analysis in decision-making and maintain confidence of stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills; Proven flexibility with changing priorities and the ability to prioritize work assignments to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with accounting and consolidation systems preferable.
