Mission Statement - Chisholm Public Schools will empower students to strive for personal excellence while growing in mind, body, and spirit.
Located in northern Garfield County, the district boundaries encompasses a number of housing additions in the city limits of Enid, OK, North Enid, and Carrier, OK. Additionally, there are several rural housing additions outside the city limits. The elementary school is located in North Enid, OK and the high school and middle school are located at the northern edge of the Enid city limits. The district is a growing district with multiple housing additions adding homes in recent years.
Our community strongly supports public education, demonstrated through the passage of multiple bond issues, active parent organizations and the parent driven Chisholm Foundation, and strong partnerships with local businesses and higher education institutions. Academically, Chisholm students have a history of strong academic performance across all grade levels.
The district offers a wide range of programs, including STEM programs, a growing Agriculture Education program, a thriving fine arts program, and numerous opportunities for student involvement in athletics and activities. We also have archery, trap shooting, and fishing programs. Additionally, High School students have many opportunities to work on post secondary education while in high school. We pride ourselves on a collaborative culture among staff, parents and community members who all share the goal of preparing students for success in college, career, and life.
We are looking for a leader who will join our district that values innovation, transparency and relationships, and who will continue building on the strong foundation already in place. The next superintendent will lead a dedicated team focused on student success, staff support and continued district growth. Chisholm Public Schools is well positioned financially to serve the students and families of the district. Our most recent bond issue passed with 71% approval. Chisholm Public Schools has passed 5 bond issues since 2006 without a failure. Our community is very supportive of the district’s efforts to improve facilities and provide quality transportation for our students.
