POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the housekeeping department are maintained to include but not limited to the following areas: cleanliness of patient areas, cleaning of common areas, cleaning and maintaining housekeeping equipment, maintaining of floor surfaces to include stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning, Cleaning of office spaces, emptying and disposal of trash and confidential information as trained, removal and disposal of any bio-hazardous material as trained, cleaning windows, dusting, cleaning restrooms, elevators, stairwells, proper use of cleaning chemicals, stocking clean linen,following and adhering to company policies and procedures. Follow instructions given by shift leader, Supervisor or department manager
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalentKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Know Hospital Cleaning Protocol
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding job
- Ability to follow instructions
