POSITION TERM:37.5 hour/week, remote position.
Selected candidate will be required to report on-site in Harrisburg for their first day to pick up and activate hardware, but rest of engagement will be remote.
Interviews will be conducted virtually over MS Teams.
Client is looking to add a project manager to take management responsibility for several current or soon-to-be current projects. This project manager would be responsible for multiple technical debt projects (such as tracking and reporting on progress for WCAG Accessibility improvements, source code migration, migration from on-premises infrastructure to cloud infrastructure) as well being involved with projects to onboard agencies to the eGrants modules/features. There are currently 2 such projects, with the potential for 3 more to begin during this fiscal year.
- Multi-tasking: The candidate will need to show the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Show proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in creating PM processes and the supporting documentation. For example, formulating a Risk Management process and creating the Risk Management Plan documentation that will outline the process to be followed should any risk to the project present itself.
- Experience using a tool to track backlog items, user stories and tasks and assigning those tasks. Azure DevOps is preferred as that it’s the tool we use, however there are many similar tools (such as Jira, Kantata, Mosaic) so experience with any tool to do those things is essential. The candidate can be shown how to do it using Azure DevOps if they have experience in another tool. Having said that, experience with Azure DevOps so they don’t need taught how to use it would be preferred.
- Experience communicating with executive level stakeholders, customer/user project team members, and development teams in meetings as well as written communications.
