POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking qualified BSN Instructors to teach OB/PEDS courses and support the academic and clinical education of our nursing students. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality instruction, guiding clinical experiences, and ensuring students meet learning outcomes. Ideal for experienced clinicians who want to expand into education with full training provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate in preparing, administering, and grading examinations
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, clinical check-offs, and student progress
Participate in planning and assessment to support program quality
Orient and mentor new faculty in theory and clinical instruction
Apply adult learning principles and continuously improve teaching effectiveness
Incorporate online learning tools to enhance course content
Submit required reports and documentation to the Program Director
Stay current with technologies, teaching practices, and safety regulations
Participate in committees, faculty meetings, and program initiatives
Plan and supervise clinical experiences at assigned healthcare facilities
Evaluate student performance based on established clinical outcomes
Provide timely feedback on clinical performance
Ensure clinical sites meet health and safety requirements for student placement
Advise students and maintain availability through office hours and communication tools
QUALIFICATIONS
California RN license (active and unencumbered)
MSN or higher degree with appropriate coursework
4 years direct patient care experience
1 year recent clinical experience
Clinical expertise in OB, Pediatrics, or OB-GYN
Teaching experience not required; training provided
