Job description:
Role: EHS Technician
Job Type: FulltimeLocation: Kansas City, MOKey responsibilities and focus areas include:Ensuring a safe working environment and promoting environmental responsibility. Partnering with leaders, individual contributors, and sites to provide a workplace free of recognized hazards. Providing tools and resources to educate employees on EHS hazards. Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and country-specific EHS regulations. Reducing environmental impact through sustainable waste and environmental best practices. Managing employee safety, functional safety, operational safety, laser and radiation safety, safety in design and integration, safety engineering. Conducting site/space audits and inspections, emergency response, chemical compliance. Supporting EHS training, incident reportingRequirement:
1) OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR
2) Incident investigation and employee care experience
3) Data center EHS experience
4) Respectable attendance record
5) Complete daily walks, customer compliance asks
6) Audits pretask plans and equipment inspections
7) Attend customer and employer meetings. Be involved. Be a leader.
