Job description
This company is a leading provider of high-performance materials and they serve customers throughout North and South America.
In addition, the company has recently expanded its Chemical Recycling product portfolio to focus on supplying sustainable products.
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align sales strategies with product offerings.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Manage product management initiatives to enhance product positioning and drive sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Must Have: Minimum of 6 years of experience in chemical product sales and marketing, with a focus on polyester resins and/or thermoplastic elastomers.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
- Strong background in product management and launching successful products.
- Proficiency in performance marketing strategies and tactics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the chemical products market, including key players, trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events (up to 50%)
