The Ambulatory Care Administrative Supervisor 1 in the Radiology Department at UC Davis Health oversees daily operations, managing a team of MOSC IV specialists specializing in radiology exam protocol, ensuring correct authorization and scheduling and MOSC III specialists specializing in radiology scheduling.
This role includes staff supervision, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation, along with technical management of and exceptional customer service to address complaints and resolve conflicts. The position serves as a key liaison between clinical staff, physicians, and administrative personnel. The role involves supervisory, technical, clerical, and customer service responsibilities to ensure smooth departmental operations and exemplary patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- Experience within healthcare or medical office setting.
- Experience in leadership roles within healthcare or medical office setting.
- Leadership and Supervisory Skills: ◦ Personnel management skills, including recruiting, interviewing, training, and developing staff. ◦ Ability to establish performance standards, coach employees, administer corrective actions, and foster team building.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

Work Environment
UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
