About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Mainframe Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience in COBOL, Assembler, CICS or similar programming languages.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL databases.
- 2+ years of experience in MQ services.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.
